From Heartache to Hope
Pricila's Infertility Journey
At 33, I stood at a crossroads, one hand grasping hope, the other holding heartbreak. A miscarriage had left me reeling, but I still believed in the dream I had always carried: to become a mother. When I reached out to my OBGYN, I was reassured everything was “fine” and told to keep trying for a year. No tests. No deeper questions. Just wait.

But my body was telling me something was off. And I’ve always believed that women know their bodies best.

Month after month passed, each one ending in the quiet devastation of a negative test. That’s when I began to self-advocate and pushing for answers, switching providers, and refusing to be dismissed. I finally found a doctor who listened. Initial testing came back normal, but when my husband was tested, we uncovered male factor infertility. Further evaluations revealed I also had PCOS, something previously undiagnosed.

We embraced a holistic approach: shifting our diet, implementing supplements, focusing on movement, and managing stress. These changes were empowering, but they weren’t enough. At 35, we began IVF. The egg retrieval was emotionally and physically demanding. I was unprepared for the grief I felt over the embryos we lost it felt like losing pieces of possibility. Again.

After more procedures and another year of waiting, we transferred our embryo. The two-week wait was brutal—caught between hope and the fear of more loss. Then the miracle happened.

Today, our son is eight months old. He is our light, our answered prayer, and our greatest teacher.
My own journey was long, uncertain, and filled with moments when I felt silenced and unseen. I created Fertility Health with Pricila to change that for others.

Infertility brings with it emotional losses that are rarely spoken aloud—the loss of control, of the imagined future, of identity and self-worth. These aren’t just clinical moments; they’re soul-deep experiences.
Many of my clients arrive feeling emotionally exhausted and caught in cycles of disappointment, grief, and isolation. They’ve been dismissed by providers, misunderstood by family, and overwhelmed by the unknown. I’ve lived those moments. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to walk beside them—not as someone with all the answers, but as someone who understands the weight they carry.

I offer more than therapy. I offer a space to breathe, to grieve, to be seen. Through my Emotional Wellness Program for Fertility Clients, I help individuals and couples move through the anxiety of what’s next, rebuild emotional resilience, and learn how to advocate for themselves—sometimes for the first time.
Whether they’re facing infertility, navigating IVF, healing after miscarriage, or exploring surrogacy, my goal is to ensure they never feel alone.

Because healing doesn’t begin with solutions—it begins with someone saying: I see you. I believe you. And I’ll walk with you.
